Subject: My new Snagging Rod & Reel Combo Thu Feb 14, 2008 7:35 am
I went to Bass Pro on 2-13 and got a great deal on a new Snagging Rod & Reel Combo.
I was just going to buy a new Reel I looked at a Penn 309 Level wind Reel for $69.99. Also I saw that they had a display rack of combos Rod & Reel sets, most all the combos were the same with generic looking white rods without tip guides for $74.99 and I saw they had two Black poles in the rack they were priced at 69.99 and they even had ceramic tips with a Penn 309 Reel so thats what I bought.
I looked up the price of the Rod on the internet, the rod is a PENN 6306CMST MARINER 6'6" 20/50# SLICK BUTT $84.99 Hell of a deal I paid $69.99 for the combo.
